All year round, from dawn to dusk, this renowned centre is open from 10am until 5pm.*  The best views of the whole Svalbard breeding population of Barnacle Geese are to be had from here in the winter from the towers, observatories and small hides looking out onto the 607 hectares of reserve. The centre also offers welcome respite to walkers with its on-site Café stocking delicious sandwiches/toasties/panini as well as home-made soups and cakes. There's a shop too with an extensive selection of books on natural history and children's gifts. As a bonus you're free to try out all the latest binoculars and telescopes!

Visit www.wwt.org.uk/caerlaverock for more information.
